American’s Brand New Chicago O’Hare Business Class Lounge Opens Thursday, Here’s What’s inside

Last night I had an opportunity to visit the new American Airlines Flagship Lounge at Chicago O’Hare for its pre-opening party in advance of its opening tomorrow.

The lounge isn’t very deep. It’s long. And as a result there’s plenty of light, the whole length of the lounge runs along the window line and it makes for some fabulous views. There’s a hot and cold buffet as well as chef station and self pour premium liquor and wine.

Woman Needed 2 Years of Complex Dental Surgery After Eating on Delta

Delta’s meal service can be reasonably good, at least compared to their US airline peers. Airline caterers don’t always operate in the best conditions or with the best quality control.

When needles were reportedly found in sandwiches on a Delta flight in 2012 I told CNN it wouldn’t change my approach to eating on planes and indeed I’ve found things in my food in restaurants too.

The Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires is a great city hotel, set in an upscale neighbor apart from the hustle and bustle of the city and just a few blocks from the Four Seasons. There are two separate buildings, connected via underground walkway or outside through the garden. There’s the original Palacio and there’s a new tower. I’ve really enjoyed staying there.

Strange Developing Story: Airline Not Allowed to Rescue 95 People From Turks & Caicos

An Air Canada charted flight arrived in Turks and Caicos yesterday with 95 electricians “s part of a humanitarian aid mission” to rebuild the electrical grid on the islands after Hurricane Irma hit while a category 5 storm.

The plane was scheduled to depart from Providenciales International Airport with 95 Canadians onboard, bringing them back to Canada after their having been stranded on the island. But local officials wouldn’t allow them to leave.

Marriott Had 200+ Empty Spots on a Boat But Refused to Help Non-Guests Escape Hurricane

Marriott had a boat evacuate guests from the Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort on St. Thomas after Irma had passed and in advance of Hurricane Jose.

They reportedly had room for a couple hundred people beyond their own guests on the 600 person boat, but refused transport to 30 or more people looking for help off the island..
