United Airlines Expected To Replace Terrible Wifi With Starlink—Is The Best Inflight Internet On The Way?

Having seen Starlink perform first on JSX and more recently on Hawaiian I can say that it really is the best inflight wifi product by a lot. Beyond faster speeds, it just has very very low latency. The technical aspects of it are outside my area but signals just don’t have as far to travel with the satellites in low earth orbit. Installations can be done in a single overnight period.

United Airlines Faces Backlash For Defending Flight Attendant’s Palestine Flag Pin And Keffiyeh Lanyard

United Airlines is a flag carrier of the United States, which does not recognize a country of Palestine or the Hamas government in Gaza. There’s also nothing to suggest that this flight attendant is from Gaza or the West Bank in any case. And, wearing a pride pin beside a Palestinian flag is clearly confused at best. Does she think that LBGTQ+ rights are better protected in Gaza or in Tel Aviv?

The Ultimate Inflight Power Move: United Passenger Flexes With Dual Laptops In Economy

A United Airlines passenger flying from Los Angeles to Chicago O’Hare found himself with an empty middle seat beside his window seat, pulled down the tray of the middle seat while inflight and whipped out a second laptop – working on both of them. Another passenger wonders if he bought himself a second seat planning to do this for work – it’s actually more width than flying first class, “I think I found myself more impressed than annoyed.”
