  • Air France may pull out of Delta deal to acquire Alitalia stake Air France itself remains part state-owned, Alitalia has been absorbing government subsidies — after sharing revenue across the Atlantic with Delta while being subsidized by Etihad — yet Delta says it’s smaller rival Air Italy that competes unfairly because it’s 49% owned by Qatar Airways.

  • Anthony’s and Ivar’s getting kicked out of Seattle airport as the Port of Seattle awards new leases.

    Other losers include Wolfgang Puck Express, Vintage Washington Wine Bar, Seattle Taproom, Affordable Luxuries, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Seattle Seahawks 12 Club, Burger King, one Starbucks location, Great American Bagel Bakery, Vino Volo, Sbarro, Hudson Booksellers, and Sports Page Pub, Cooper said.

  • I’ve previously written about airline caterers stocking up food in the UK in advance of potential supply disruptions from a no-deal Brexit. Heathrow is stocking up on baggage carousel parts too.

  • Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are traveling to Morocco. They aren’t even waiting until Royal Air Maroc partners with British Airways through oneworld. If they wanted to use British Airways Avios to redeem for their travel, then, they’d first need to move their British Airways points to Iberia (using an account that had been open at least 90 days and had earned at least 1 mile) in order to make the booking.

  3. It’s sad about Anthony’s and Ivar’s at SeaTac. We used to stop at Anthony’s very often. We noticed that when the SeaTac minimum wage rules were enacted the prices at Anthony’s increased significantly. This caused us to settle most of the time for lighter meals at the Alaska Lounge. We realize that costs for all employers at SeaTac increased, but our Admirals Club privileges at the Alaska Lounge gave us an alternative
