Pre-pandemic several U.S. Virgin Clubhouses were accessible via Priority Pass during hours when they weren’t servicing Virgin’s own customers albeit with reduced food offerings.
Now Virgin Atlantic has turned over management of its clubs to Plaza Premium Group. They’re no longer in the Priority Pass network, but they’re selling access to the New York JFK Clubhouse via Travelzoo.
3-hour access to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse operated by Plaza Premium Group at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
$49 (reg. $70) … One person
$95 (reg. $140) … Two peopleClubhouse comes with select services, such as complimentary food, house beverages, internet access, showers, luggage storage and more
Oddly they suggest that the lounge’s New York JFK terminal 4 location “sees airlines such as Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, Emirates, Singapore Airlines and more” when in fact JetBlue departs JFK Terminal 5, which as far as I know has only the Aer Lingus lounge.
The JFK Clubhouse is a gorgeous space with great tarmac views. Here’s the menu to see whether you’ll eat and drink your way to $49 (the lounge has showers, too). A bottle of Lanson Black Label champagne will cover the cost of admittance, by the way.
Purchased passes are valid through March, but refundable if you don’t use them.

This is great. In pre-Pandemic days I had lounge access everywhere. Alas not so much now. But the food and drinks menu looks lovely for a late night flight. By the way Jet Blue does offer some flights out of Terminal 4 to the Caribbean.
If I had the time and wasn’t travelling in Upper Class, a hundred bucks is a good price for a Virgin Clubhouse. The Heathrow Clubhouse is a knockout, and I’m sure all of the other locations are quite a cut above any domestic airline’s lounge. Sir Richard wouldn’t have it any other way!
