Leave a Comment for a Chance to Win a 2-Night HYATT house Stay With Very Important Resident Status

Yesterday I posted about HYATT house’s new extended stay VIP benefits and that I’d be doing a giveaway of a 2-night HYATT house stay that waives the 30 day requirement to qualify for “Very Important Resident” status on that stay and gets you the inside track on giving those benefits a spin.

Here’s how to enter to win:

  • Read about the new HYATT house ‘Very Important Resident’ benefits.

  • Leave a comment in this current contest post, answering the question “Which new benefit is your favorite and why?” Is it the ability to pick your suite, the grocery shopping service, the personalized hotel tour, or something else?

  • You may enter up to once a day — and I give you a bit of slack in this, I won’t disqualify any entry as long as you don’t make more than one entry per calendar day or as long as no entry is closer than 24 hours together from another one. And if you’re close, we’re cool. I’m not looking to disqualify people, just to make sure there’s no massive ballot stuffing.

All entries (comments) must be received no later than Sunday, June 2 at Noone Eastern time.

I will draw the winner at random early next week from those that meet these guidelines.   305. My favorite amenity would be grocery delivery. Usually hotels have few options of ADA (wheelchair adapted) rooms so that one would not likely pay off but having someone deliver and stock groceries is of great benefit when you can’t drive!

I like that they are rolling out a cooked to order omelet service as I thought the breakfast was decent but could use some freshly cooked items.   460. I realized after posting yesterday that the breakfast is made available to all guests, not just VIR’s. In that case, I select the groceries as my benefit of choice. Being able to have fresh, self-prepared food for dinner while traveling on business is highly underrated.

  461. Grocery shopping! Eliminates the need to drive in an unknown area to get food. Also, it would feel more like I was at home to have groceries stocked in the fridge and will save time after a long day of work!

  477. 1. The number one benefit is definitely the pick your suite option. I travel with handicapped and elderly family members who have certain needs to be met in order for their stay to be comfortable. For example, bed size /type, kitchenettes and certain types of bathroom options.

    2. The grocery shopping service is a real star. Oftentimes my family members are too tired even to go to the hotel restaurant to eat. So having something in the room that they can easily access is a blessing.

    3. The favorites folio is nice as well. That way my folks can have extra coffee, the types of pillows/blankets required and other special requests would make their hotel room comfortable versus being a torture chamber.

  685. Hands down I love the pick your own suite amenity. As an architecture student I often pick hotels based on their design and views. Hyatt, more than any other brand, selects some of the best architects in the world to design their hotels. In fact, their John Portman-designed hotels, such as the San Francisco and Atlanta Hyatt Regencies, partially inspired me to become a designer myself! That being said, there have been multiple occasions where I’ve booked a hotel for a specific view, only to find out that that view wasn’t available. In one case I ended up in an entirely different wing of the building than I expected! This amenity eliminates this, and it’s a great new feature for those of us who care about these details.
