Ch-ch-changes at the Dallas American Express Centurion Lounge!

The American Express Centurion Lounge at Dallas-Fort-Worth Airport has had a couple of recent changes.

It’s been six months since the last menu refresh there.

And they’ve added new items to the menu. In fact, the lounge’s website menu isn’t up to date.

I love the DFW Centurion lounge. It’s my all-around favorite, even featuring a spa and showers.LaGuardia is the newest and I think I like their food best. (Here’s their menu.)

With new items, though, the DFW lounge is sort of ‘new again’ to me. I think my body was about 5% brisket, so time for a refresh.

They still have the old menu, and will at least until the full changeover. But for now they’ve added several items.

There’s a new pasta dish and a chicken dish, the staff seem to prefer the pasta but the chicken — albeit heavy for sure — is quite good.

It’s a smoked pecan-crusted chicken breast and served with creamy jalapeno jack grits.

There’s also a kale, goat cheese, pine nut salad that’s been added. And also a Mexican rice

They’ve changed the wifi code, as well!

I’m definitely looking forward to the San Francisco and then Miami openings!

  1. Interesting – the chicken and rice pudding have been around for months now, pasta is probably about a month and half, and the new wifi is about 2 weeks old. So hopefully there is more on the way.

  2. Looks nice. Love the blog. I’m going to be at SFO October 29 the of this year, @Gary if you were a betting man would you bet on the lounge being open?

  3. @Gib O – I would not expect the SFO lounge open by October 29. It’s possible, but I’d think early November, early December or — these things are always permit and inspection depending – i suppose there’s a non-zero chance of it pushing into the New Year.

  4. Thumbs-up on the new menu items at the Dallas lounge. DFW is my home airport, so I’m in there almost every week. Let’s hope the Miami club opens soon. The Miami D-15 Admirals Club is as crowded as a refugee camp, with bathroom lines to match.
