British Airways Flight Attendant Goes Off in Racist Snapchat

A British Airways mixed fleet flight attendant, about to fly London Heathrow to Abuja, Nigeria on BA83 offered an offensive video on Snapchat. For all you teens sexting, doesn’t really mean videos disappear.

The video was captioned “I can’t cope with this flight.” She mocks the accents of passengers, talks about the sex she plans to have on her layover, and says all the passengers need upgrades because their private parts are too big.

In other words flight attendants are just like everyone else, with the same inappropriate jokes in moments meant to be private, but that privacy disappears when broadcast in social media and jeopardizes jobs when done while representing an employer (in this case, in uniform).

I’d say I’m surprised we haven’t learned that yet but Anthony Weiner was sentenced to prison today.

Here’s a clip of the video:

In a statement British Airways said, “We expect the utmost professionalism from our staff when they are representing British Airways. We are investigating this video.”

Meanwhile I’m not sure why YouTube suggested this video to me, and I won’t embed it because it’s not entirely safe for work, but here are two British Airways flight attendants giving each other a bath.
