  1. Gary, I’m confused. I already have the card and the link takes me to the AA promo page, where I can apply for the card. Do I need to apply (and be rejected, which I will) in order to get the 1000 miles?

  2. @Lawrence no you click the button that says you already have the card and then you register for the 1000 miles.

  3. Hey Gary, I don’t see the “Already have the card” button anywhere. Not sure what is going on.

  4. Yep…looks like this deal is dead already. Sucks for us west-coasters who don’t get up early enough…sigh.

  5. Now thats not very nice of them. The button was there this morning, I registered myself and my wife for the 1000 points. It said after they verify your a valid citi card holder they would award 1000 points, It however never asked for your citi card number. We both have cards from last years 100K sign up.

  6. I received the Citi email 2 days ago. Today (May 10), I see nothing that allows me to get these 1000 Miles.

Maybe they should give all of us card holders 30,000 more miles for a $1000.00 spend in 4 months?

    ED.

  7. Yep, I happened to be up at 2 am and registered my entire family, but checking back today, the link is gone!

  8. Although I got the Citi email about the 1000 miles for existing cardmembers two days ago, I also arrived at the website yesterday a little late. But I contacted Citi through my account website to express my displeasure and they said they’re going to credit me the 1000 miles. Don’t know why the promo was pulled from the AA 30th site, but I’m glad Citi is still willing to follow through.

  9. Looks like the points are posting now!
