Citibank is offering a bonus on transfers from ThankYou Rewards to Hilton HHonors through January 6. The good news is that they’re aggressive, they are running two transfer bonuses at the same time. However you shouldn’t be tempted by this offer. ThankYou points are just too good to transfer to Hilton.

$400 Discount on British Airways is Back!
Last week I wrote about the status of the $400 AARP discount for premium cabin British Airways tickets.
The discount has been around for awhile, and gets renewed on an annual basis. The current one shows valid for bookings made by October 31 — only it’s been erroring out, leading to speculation that it was pulled early. Fortunately, it is working again.

United’s New Domestic Free Drink Policy. Is It as Generous as You Think?
United now gives a free first drink to top elite frequent flyers seats in coach. An Airline Just Opened a Farm at New York JFK Airport. And It’s Useless.
JetBlue has opened a farm at JFK airport. But it’s too small to actually grow anything useful for the airline. Instead it’s “meant to educate travelers more than actually feed them.”
The farm isn’t even open to the public although pending future regulatory approval they hope to have programs for students, and possibly allow frequent flyers to sign up to visit.
An American Flight Attendant Leaves Secret Notes at Passenger Window Seats
A DC-based flight attendant tapes notes to the windows on flights she’s working.
Taylor Tippett and has started garnering media attention, because I suspect a little bit of inspiration while we’re flying in a metal tube really resonates with people.
