She got it from TMZ. She won’t reveal what freaked her out so much on the plane, but she’s teasing a tell-all interview.

Airlines can earn revenue from ticket sales on already sold out flights, where they ordinarily wouldn’t generate any incremental funds. Effectively it lets airlines keep selling last-minute tickets even after flights are sold out. The airline gets their last minute price, while potentially returning half of the original discounted ticket cost to the passenger in the form of travel credit that they’ll use – likely with additional cash – to fly the airline again in the future.

With the American Express Membership Rewards 30% transfer bonus to British Airways ending August 31, Chase is picking up the mantle. They’re offering a 30% bonus on transfers to British Airways and fellow Avios airlines Iberia and Aer Lingus through September 22, in addition to their less valuable Marriott transfer bonus which continues through September 30.
You should register even if you don’t have any Marriott stays planned this year because one might crop up, and you will never remember to go back and register later. It’s easy and quick to register now, and if you don’t you may wind up losing out on points later.
