- A shareholder lawsuit over their loss of Costco has been dismissed. One of the real downsides of being a public company is that any drop in share price can mean a lawsuit.

- It’s a sad reflection on the world that United has to tell its club lounge guests this:
- Animals are not allowed to occupy seats that are designed for United Club guests.
- Animals are not allowed to eat or drink from United Club serviceware.
- Animals are not allowed to occupy seats that are designed for United Club guests.
Why do you say there is no class action lawsuit?
The link you provided seems to show that there is going to be one. what did I miss?
@Patrick – I think Gary inadvertently omitted the “w” from the word “now”. Reviewing the article, the plaintiff spent a lot of money very quickly in order to earn his SPG bonus, so it’s quite possible he violated the T & C by engaging in manufactured spending. I know, I know – he also could have had organic spend but Amex has been cracking down on people who use MS to try to meet bonus goals.
@ Gary — Surely service ponies and turkeys can use the seats and serviceware? I have a note from my doctor. Really.
The lawsuit dismissal is a win for common-sense. It’s incredible how often naive shareholders enable smart lawyers to take money from their own pockets.
