$49 Towards Your Hotel or 555 Free Delta Miles Plus Free Elite Status

Along the lines of obscure frequent flyer signup bonuses, the current issue of Inside Flyer carries an offer (subscription required) for elite status and 5000 bonus points when signing up for VOILÀ Hotel Rewards. Those bonus points can apparently be redeemed right away.

InsideFlyer readers who join VOILÀ Hotel Rewards at http://www.insideflyer.com/link/?5075 will automatically receive Orion tier elite membership status and 5,000 bonus points. Orion members earn 25 percent bonus points and receive complimentary space available upgrades, early check-in and late checkout, complimentary WiFi and fitness center access, among other benefits. And 5,000 points can be redeemed for a hotel night award that is $49 or less, 555 Delta SkyMiles, digital music and ebooks or other awards.

Seems like a good enough reason to join, I’m not currently a member. I’m actually surprised at some of the places they have hotels, I’ve heard of the program but never paid it much mind previously.

  1. Looks like you need 9,000 points to redeem for Delta miles now, Congrats to those who were quick enough.

  2. Well, if you can”t move to Delta and have no other use for the points, you can redeem 5000 points for a $15 donation to the worldreader.org charity.

  3. Puh… I enrolled via the mentioned link and received ordinary level membership and 1000 points. Don”t bother…

  4. Indeed, now 9k point to transfer. Anyone know a way to transfer in to this program? I’d do an inbound if the rate was fair to get up to 9k points.

  5. If you haven’t been banned from top guest you can check in to earn additional points toward you 9000.

Sign up with Topguest and every time you visit a VOILÀ property and virtually “check in” using Facebook Places, Foursquare, Twitter or similar applications, you’ll earn bonus points.

You don’t even have to stay overnight at the hotel. You can “check in” while dining in the restaurant, meeting friends for drinks in the cocktail lounge or attending a work conference.

  6. Actually you get 6000 points from this sign up! 5000 from inside flyer and 1000 points voila gives for all sign ups.

  7. Don’t forget the Voila is part of the Topguest program. Linking your Voila account to Topguest looks to get an extra 50 points. And if you’re near NYC, checkins are always a possibility…

  8. Thanks… Works for quick 5000 pts and hopfully will be able to use the member benefits someday. I am surprised to see Thailand Amari hotel chain in this group.

  9. @Ofer – You don’t need a paid subscription.
@All – The TopGuest method aside, the 6K points don’t expire and are worth holding onto despite the increase to 9K minimum DL transfer because another bonus opportunity and/or a drop in the minimum may come somewhere down the line.

  10. Just got 5k when I joined through the link on 10-25-11. Sorry to see the increase to 9000 points for Delta but that’s OK. They might come in handy one day like for a grand slam or future promotion. Odd trip, etc.

  11. I just joined and only received 1000, how long did it take for the bonus points to post for everyone who has successfully got them?
