My award booking service partner Steve Belkin, author of a new book on his 30 years of mileage exploits, has another project that’s launched.
He is launching Scuba Hunt in Cozumel this month. He tells me,
Teams of two search for a dozen or so hidden clues scattered among 90 humongous concrete blocks that form a natural underwater maze. And the twist, there is no map or compass to help navigate.
While most diving in Cozumel are drift dives where the mind can drift off. Scuba Hunt requires concentration, communication and teamwork.
Steve points out “there is good award availability into Cozumel and a Wyndham and Westin for hotel points.”
A sign that his business is underwater (pun intended). Sad.
I much prefer overwater scuba adventures
I prefer to head out to the reef/wall and do some real scuba diving. Real divers dive the Maracaibo Reef at the south end.
Interesting… Like an escape room underwater. As a new diver I appreciate the opportunity to work on skills and know your partner. Also, as a new diver, that tunnel bit, scares the heck out of me. As a human, I’m upset that there is a potential for putting these things in the bottom of the ocean all over the world.
