‘Shut Up You Make Less Than Me’ Rampaging Millionaire American Airlines Passenger Threatens to Surround Plane With 100 People

An American Airlines passenger on a delayed flight went on an epic rant demanding a phone charger, an alcohol shot (which he says he’s not even going to drink), and a $200 refund while threatening crew and boasting about his wealth.

It somehow involved his boss and food from Starbucks. Shared under the title, “Kodak Black’s future client,” it suggests he’ll soon need as much legal help as the rapper. (He also claims to be shooting something with Black.)

The man walks the aisles of the Airbus A321 aircraft threatening passengers – as well as no one in particular – and makes demands like gettng his checked bag back, and demands a charger because he doesn’t have juice in his phone. He says he makes over $1 million a year, but his boss will be mad at him if he doesn’t take a call. And he insists he “won’t be talked to like that” by anyone that ‘makes less money than him.’

He threatens to block the plane from taking off by surrounding the jet “with 100 people.” He wants off the plane – or to sit in the pilot’s seat. He argues it’s ok for him to speak badly to women because he “has four sisters” though he apologizes to one since she’s “very beautiful.” He does apologize for smelling like weed, but promises he’s “not tripping.”

Oddly, though, he’s allowed to go on ad nauseum without much intervention for the bulk of time, even as he nearly comes to blows with another passenger onboard. He just wants to make it to Colorado for his job at which he “works 100 hours a week” – but has chosen an odd way to make that happen.

Language in these videos is very much not safe for work (and not even safe for work from home):

For those of you who want to go really deep into this, here’s part 5.

There’s a hilarious debate over whether the man in the video is Philadelphia-based crime podcaster and Barstool Sports alum who offered “gambling picks and mob movie breakdowns” or not. Nadu denies it’s him, while xAI’s Grok doubles down. The video was also shared by Barstool Sports, calling the passenger “the realest person on the East Coast!”

Actually, it is Jeff Nadu. Barstool’s Rundown episode confirms the rant was his meltdown over a forgotten charger on a United flight to LAX. He landed safely and called it his “greatest work.”

Upon review of Barstool’s Rundown episode, eyewitness accounts, and viral coverage, it is indeed Jeff Nadu in the charger rant video. He flew United to LAX, landed safely, and later dubbed it his “greatest work.” Denial noted, but evidence doesn’t support it.

The passenger says he chooses American Airlines because they’re “the best in the game.” He, of course, is the true crime and gangster on this flight. It’s genuinely amazing that in about 10 minutes of video we never see the man dragged off.

  1. This sounds like one of those reel shorts videos they try to lure you in on TIKTOK. The script is almost always the same.

  2. @Leonard, that is exactly what I came here to say. I have always thought those shorts were over the top, until I read this post.

  3. @Raphael I am glad I came back here to see your reply. They do drag you in sometimes but the script is always the same.

  4. When you mix stupidity, pills, booze, entitlement, and a toddler like state of being with air travel you get this moron.

Put on a permanent Do Not Fly list for all air travel and a few months in jail will keep these overgrown babies in check.

  5. People talk about banning alcohol as the answer to stuff like this but the real answer is permanent banning of people like this idiot across all U.S. carriers. You get a single appeal to an independent tribunal at the FAA and that’s it. One strike. You’re never flying commercial again for the rest of your life on any of our nation’s airlines.

  6. So this was all just an act for some kind of Tik Tok or video thing?. I never heard of Barstool sports so I guess I’m a bit out of whatever trend that is.

  7. Yeah, not cool. Doesn’t matter what the perpetrator’s background is, or if it’s ‘just a joke, bro,’ this misbehavior is disruptive at best, and harmful to others and the operation of the fight at worst.

@Mike Hunt — Thanks for include *some* ‘due process’ and the right to (a single) appeal.

  8. As it seems to be Nadu, every psychotic fear about his boss is appropriate.

  9. @Mike Hunt – Why stop there? Let’s require an “air passenger permit” (with background check, social-media screening, psychological evaluation and mandatory passenger etiquette training) before even being allowed to get on a plane to begin with.

Just think of how much riff-raff we could weed out of the skies…

  10. Gary…..
Why do you put this brain dead stuff on your otherwise excellent newsletter? This isn’t news or even worth the time of day!
    Picard

  11. He needs to be removed, his privilege is showing. If he was any other race than white, he would have been dragged off.

Also, if he’s a millionaire, why is he is economy? I understand that there are frugal millionaires out there but the way he flaunts it, one should already assume he is up front.

  12. I’m just exhausted of the displays of mental illness/addiction everywhere in the US all the time. Get him off the damn plane and to a hospital.

  13. This has to be staged, no one would put up with that. If it’s real he should be in jail or a mental hospital.

  14. @Denver Refugee — And I bet AAA would enjoy having a monopoly on international (flying) permits. Too many countries state ‘on paper’ that they require those silly ‘international drivers permits,’ which are really nothing better than translating your driver’s license into their native language(s), for a ‘nominal’ $20 fee. But, really, if you come from an English-speaking country, you know, the language of international business, we really shouldn’t need those. Had someone at a rental agency in Europe threaten to not rent to me without the silly permit; then, they backed off, and rented it anyway. Odd. Sure, the ‘letter of the law’ says no speeding, but every time I get behind the wheel, some other a-hole is going double the limit. Sheesh.

@Jean luc Picard — Tea, Earl Grey, Hot! It’s a website, not a newsletter. Make it so!

  15. I have to stay off the internet. I don’t think I can hate people more at this point. Why does everyone suck? Instead of immigrants, can we ship these people to El Salvador and keep the immigrants?

  16. How is it possible that this flight crew allowed this to go on for so long to disturb most of the other passengers on board ( at least nearby ) that had to put up with this garbage

  17. @JOHN — Well, it was American Airlines, I presume some here think the crew was deep in a game of Candy Crush. (Now, I’ve never liked that joke/criticism, but I couldn’t resist.)

  18. What a demonstration of middle aged white male privilege. Anyone else would have been thrown off the plane. Some people are thrown off the plane based on how they looked at a flight attendant, but a white male can get away with this.

  19. @ Alan A
I’d bet he’d even get an automatic complimentary pass on the ‘smell test’ too !
.. All the while his behavior STINKS …
    … lol.
Why wasn’t he ‘dealt with’ by the crew and removed from the aircraft ? Who could really know
his state of mind, mental/drug condition and potential for a truly threatening, escalated situation.
I am sooo reassured that this FA’s are there primarily for my safety !

  20. @bossa — The crew is trained to keep you safe within the context of air travel, not to be your personal ‘bouncer’ or body guard. Still, the whole incident is obviously ‘uncool,’ and the actual perpetrator is the person who deserves the blame here.

  21. I would have said, dude, meet me in the back lav and drop your pants. That would have shut him up…or….LOL

  22. He’s Short
    Fat
Wears T-shirts as everday wear and worst of all
    Has Tattoes.

  23. His shirt was missing the slogan “Deck me now before I make much more of an ass out of myself.” Too bad nobody took him up on it. Surely some devil dog on board could have made an object lesson out of this.

I would like to say that vigilante behavior is wrong. Always wait in your seat like a sheep hoping the FA will solve the problem of the burly fat white asshole threatening everyone. And if he’s threatening to have 100 people storm the sterile area and the AOA and surround the aircraft he is a threat to others, and nowadays that’s terrorism.

It only takes five challenge coins in your hand to make brass knuckles look ltrivial.

  24. Yet another confirmation that AA is not only “America’s airline” but, appropriately the worst airline based in the US, consistent with the state of America’s leadership.

  25. @Sally Cooper — Good one. He needed some ‘support.’

@Walter Barry — You really do have the wrong ‘hot take’ for all occasions. It’s not his height, weight, clothing, or choice of body art that is the actual problem here; it’s his misbehavior. Maybe study the whole ‘content of their character’ thing…

@Why — Oh, come now… misbehavior has always happened; it’s just more visible now that we have smart phones and can readily, instantaneously, and virally share it across the world in no time. So, don’t worry, and know that this rarely happens on most flights.

@Ehud Gavron — On vigilantism, it depends, but if you chose to go that route, know that both the bully and victim often ‘get suspended’ in today’s ‘zero tolerance’ schools… just saying, you might find yourself on a no-fly list (see the movie Due Date with Zach Galifianakis and Robert Downey Jr. getting kicked off a flight scene.) So, yeah, they say, no good deed goes unpunished. However, the rare exception is UA93. Those passengers were 100% heroes for fighting back. Saved lives.

  26. yeah, buddy you’re worth a couple million, but you don’t have 2 cents worth of class. and that 2 cents is much more valuable. the rich really have no idea how dumb they really are.
