Former Pro Baseball Player Slams Passenger Breaching Atlanta TSA Checkpoint — New Video Shows the Takedown

New video has finally been released showing a man trying to breach security at the Atlanta airport, injuring three TSA screeners in the process, and getting tackled by a former professional baseball player who was in line. The incident occurred at the main security checkpoint on the morning of October 30.

The man entered the checkpoint quickly, pushed through passengers and TSA employees and knocking multple people down. He forced his way past a checkpoint agent and past the document chcker. A TSA officer yelled “Breach!” and “Everybody freeze!”

The ballplayer, who was sending their bags through bag screening, grabbed the man and slammed him to the floor. He tried to get up, and made another run at the checkpoint, but he was subdued enough for TSA agents to control him and get him in handcuffs. Police say he was mumbling and continued to resist, trying to stand. They took him off in a wheelchair and he was charged with simple battery and interfering with security measures.

This came just a week after a man showed up at that smae airport with an AR-15 and started scoping out the TSA checkpoint to shoot up the airport. Guns have gone off at Atlanta TSA before and we’ve seen fights at security there, too.

  1. Huh, a somewhat appropriate use of “slams” as opposed to the hyperbolic use as seen in most clickbait… (x politician “blasts” y politician).

  2. Thank the state of GA and Washington for allowing everyone to have arms and defend from invasion
