I got a coupon (printed at the register upon checkout) at Safeway yesterday with one of these codes. I got the same error message when trying to enter it today.

I knew about one of the codes last night (from TheFreebieBlogger), entered it, and it worked. But today with the other too…yeah, same error message.

Don’t know if it makes a difference, but I’ve been Gold level for a few years now.
If it doesn’t work upon first submission, keep submitting. Different results depending upon account and what server the request hits. Also, add this code to the list:

I actually received a coupon after checking out at Safeway (no, didn’t buy any Starbucks products while shopping there), with one of these Star Codes. I haven’t gotten the code to work yet, nor the other 2 codes posted above, but I will try again tomorrow. (May also decide to contact Starbucks customer service, since I have a legit paper coupon for this.)

I’m actually getting a different error than the last two days now. “The Star code you entered is invalid. (MSG-V0049)” – perhaps the starship has sailed?
I tried the first two and they did not work. After trying the third code, I got the message saying I had reached my next for the day… So much for nothing, I hate how it counts against you even though they did not go through! Oh well, I guess I’ll try again tomorrow.

What’s annoying is that this was the same code I got after shopping at Ingles on a Starbucks coupon and it does not work. Probably because all y’all on the Internet got to it first and it has limited usage. 🙁 After making a purchase, I’m disappointed that I get no stars from it. Bummer.
The reward codes (from above) they did work weeks ago…If you have just now received a non-working code,i would contact Starbucks about it.

I’m a green level I got 11 stars I’m trying to get gold but it’s a lot harder I like the dunkin donuts app every dollar u spend u get 5 points when u reach 200 points u get a free beverage any size of your choice so pretty much u buy a med ice coffee an a one sandwich a week an u get 200 points or they have options say come in store 3 times this week u get 30 points Starbucks needs to do a point progress like that but none of these codes worked for me

These are no scams. The only reason they’re not working is because each card can only be used once. Once the code is used it cannot be used again
