• A mall in California has a VIP lounge you can access just for having a Visa Signature card. And nobody knows about it.

  There are always 1-2 attendants on hand to check visitors in as well as serving refreshments and snacks. Champagne, imported beer, and wine are included if you choose to partake. I’m particularly fond of their latte, served with a small biscotti.

• How much of a miles and points expert are you? I did get all of the answers right, although the second question struck me as underspecified (fortunately the missing information was easy to fill in given the set of answer choices).

• Matthew has a fantastic post on the schedule change policies of United, American, and Delta — what you’re entitled to when confronted with a schedule change, and what you can ask for in practice. He had a particularly devious approach to use a 10 minute schedule adjustment to change the departure city on a ticket.

• On Tuesday Chase transfers to Korean Air went offline on the Ultimate Rewards website. Commenters indicated they could still transfer over the phone with Chase. Transfers are now available again online. That’s huge given how much first class award space they make available (not to mention their fantastic award values for business class to Europe and also to Hawaii).

  

• The new internet lounge at North Korea’s new airport which is is asolute perfection and built in Harmony With Modern Aesthetic Taste and National Character doesn’t actually have internet.
