God Save the Points writes that Air France, Alitalia, and Air Europa are combining to offer premium economy from $607 roundtrip.
Air France and Alitalia are trying to be your ride to Madrid. They really want you to join them, so they’re offering seats in Air France’s refined Premium Economy for just $607 round trip from New York, Miami or Boston. That means tons more leg room, better meal, better drinks and priority baggage.
I’m seeing fares closer to $700 for travel from New York, Boston, or Miami to Spain, which is an amazing deal for roundtrip premium economy.
Travel is available through mid-June, and can be searched via Google Flights.
Now, $600 – $750 is a reasonable economy roundtrip price. We’ve seen lower of course I usually only highlight economy roundtrips to Europe these days when the price drops below $400.
But this is for premium economy, something you’ll often pay about $2000 roundtrip for. Think domestic first class — a bigger seat, more legroom, but not a bed along with upgraded service.

Lots of complaints about AF Y+.
Shell seat means it slides forward rather than recline and lots of people find it really uncomfortable for sleeping. Probably fine for the day flight. Better than regular Y of course, but I think DL comfort plus seat might be better for the overnight leg, if routing allows.
@Tom I cannot disagree more about DL Comfort+ (just extra legroom) versus AF Premium Economy, sure it’s not great but it’s certainly wider in addition to giving more legroom.
I fly British Airways premium economy BOS-LHR 4-5 times a year, and I don’t think I’ve ever paid anywhere near $2k for that ticket.
