Private Jet Card Comparisons reports that SurfAir is offering free private jet flights to top tier elite members of European frequent flyer programs.
Many folks have top status even living in the U.S., for instance by status match, air berlin and Turkish are especially common. God Save the Points thinks they may accept top tier status from U.S. programs as well.
Surf Air is a subscription based private “shared” charter company, which allows flyers to jet around on an unlimited basis for £3150 per month on routes between London, Zurich and Ibiza, with plans to add Munich, Milan and Luxembourg. They also have West Coast USA flights starting up.
To claim the offer e-mail infoeurope@surfair.com with proof of your elite status and a request for this test flight offer.
Free private jet flight offers are real, strange as it may sound. Over the summer JetSmarter offered a free trial membership to airline top tier elites and those with a million miles in an account. A year ago they offered a brief trial to anyone.
I took advantage of the trial and filed a report on the experience it was definitely cool though wouldn’t pay for it living in Austin where there just weren’t enough flights I could hop on to justify the expense.
At a minimum many European readers can benefit, I’ll be curious to learn if anyone with status in a non-European program finds a request granted.
Turkish Airlines Gold worked fine.
