Earlier this month Hyatt was pricing several hotels below their normal published cash and points award prices. Most of those deals are no longer available.
However Extreme Hotel Deals found several hotels that are currently charging less than they are ‘supposed to’ for cash and points.

And here are the deals available right now:

Park Hyatt Hyderabad | $27 + 4000 points | $55 + 4000 points | $28

Hyatt House Mexico City/Santa Fe | $35 + 4000 points | $55 + 4000 points | $20
Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport | $50 + 6000 points | $75 + 6000 points | $25
Hyatt Place Washington DC/US Capitol | $50 + 6000 points | $75 + 6000 points | $25 |
This is a great sale though in any given case always compare to the paid rates at a property. In general I’ve seen Hyatt honor these, though as always it’s possible a property might get seller’s remorse so it’s a good idea not to make non-refundable travel plans around the booking for a few days to make sure everything remains intact.
For all of the thousands of readers who will be flocking there, beware the Park Hyatt Hyderabad’s specials. I jumped on one that was posted here about 18 months ago, only to find that the hotel revoked the special rate and was going to bill me at a regular rate without notifying me. They were fine about canceling it once I told them I wasn’t going to go there at the regular rate, but I had to be proactive to find out about it and to initiate the cancellation.
