- Marriott has been giving out gift boxes to elite members at select hotels, apparently since August and I didn’t realize it? The box includes a note from David Flueck,
Welcome back!
Thank you for being a Marriott Bonvoy elite member – we truly appreciate you staying with us. As we all look forward to exploring the world again, we’d like to share this gift with you to help enrich your travel journeys. Thanks again for choosing Marriott Bonvoy and our portfolio of 30 extraordinary brands. We can’t wait to hear about your travels!

It’s interesting to see the SQ agreement with UA.
Hopefully it does result in lower fares to Asia.
How on earth does that work?!? Do they put a note if your file once you get one? Or could the same elite end up with 5 boxes? That doesn’t seem right. Was shipping too expensive? SMH…
Titaium at Marriott — received the gift box on Saturday at the Marriott on Singer Island in Florida, along with two small bottles of champagne! I left the gift box for the cleaners.
