Uber and Lyft have announced that they’re leaving Minneapolis May 1, 2024 in response to new city rules on driver pay. Uber is clear this will mean no airport pickups or drop offs. Lyft’s statement leaves open some ambiguity about the airport, although if they continue with airport service it may be only for out of towners.
An unruly passenger on a Jetstar flight from Melbourne to Bali turned around shortly after departure. Flight JQ43 left just before 11 am on Monday. The woman dubbed “the passenger from hell” started accusing another traveler of stealing her mobile phone. The accused allegedly attempted to force her way into the cockpit, shouting at fellow passengers, and physically pushing others aside as she moved through the cabin.
