Bilt’s monthly Rent Day deals have been revealed, and this month they have an offer on Virgin cruises; a Blade helicopter party; fine dining access at a discount; along with the usual double points on their credit card, SoulCycle offers and a game show to win cash for rent.
I really like the dining deals. I prefer when they have 100%+ transfer bonuses to airlines and status deals. But you don’t get those every month!

Great Monthly Dining Deals
Last month Bilt launched their ‘Neighborhood Dining Series’ where each month they have all-inclusive reservations at top restaurants, with a tasting menu and cocktail selection at a fixed price. They have 27 restaurants in 12 cities this month:
- Atlanta: La Semilla, St. Cecilia
- Austin: Sushi Bar ATX, Loro
- Boston: La Padrona
- Chicago: Girl and the Goat, Cabro, Sushi Bar Chi
- Denver: Uchi Den
- Dallas: Komodo, Sushi Bar Dallas
- Houston: Uchiko Hou, Toca Madera
- Miami: Mila, Casadonna, Casa Neos, Pastis
- Nashville: Sushi Bar Nash, The Optimist
- New York: Meduza Mediterrania, Saint Theos, K’Far, Tucci
- Los Angeles: Cabra LA, DiDi
- Washington D.C.: Imperfecto, The Saga
Sushi | Bar, already well-known in dining circles, took on a national profile in May after the New York Times tagged it an archetype of ‘bromakase’ dining.
Bilt dining series reservations are offered starting at $75 or 6,000 points per person. Personally I value the points to highly and would spend the cash – but I like that they’re offering a decent value per point on these as well.
The killer app by the way, aside from a genuine deal at Sushi Bar, is actually getting in. Here in Austin you probably aren’t going to get into Tsuke Edomae which is better (though several readers have scored reservations following my pointers), but this is a pretty great way to do a still very good sushi dining experience.

Double Points on the First
Each Rent Day, Bilt offers double points on spending charged to their co-brand Bilt Mastercard, up to 10,000 additional points.
- 6x on dining
- 4x on travel
- 2x on other non-rent spend
Naturally, cardholders must still use their card 5 times each statement period to earn points.
I save up bills for the first of the month to charge and earn double points – because the spending also counts towards earning Bilt status, which I value for things like Alaska Airlines status, bonuses on transfers, and early access to sushi deals.
SoulCycle And Free Rent Are Back
Bilt members can book a complimentary bike at a themed SoulCycle class booked through the app starting Tuesday, July 30th at Noon Eastern. One participating rider will win a month’s rent up to $2,500.
They also give away rent via their Family Feud-style gameshow “Rent Free” and their guest this month is comedian Jared Freid. The top 10 scoring Bilt members win rent for the month, and the next 600 earn Bilt points. Sadly, free points for trivia questions has been sunset.
Is that freaking Justin Ross Lee in the photo? What’s he up to these days?
Sushi|Bar is fine. Had it when it first opened in Dallas last year. Went to the Bilt event version too. Similar menu, but wasn’t as good.
Enjoy it while it lasts. No way this card will make it long term and Wells is already losing big on it. I expect these promotions to be cut back significantly or eliminated entirely. No way Wells will continue to subsidize the cost of the promotions. BTW, have you read about all the other issues Wells Fargo has, including government action for previous fraudulent activity. Supporting a niche credit card that they lose money on is the least of their issues. BTW, for those that say Wells has an agreement through, as I recall, 2029 – you know they set up a separate legal entity as the contracting agent for this relationship and can easily shut down that sub or throw it into bankruptcy right?
Do we get extra points back on the bilt dining experiences if bought with money ( or bilt card)? I thought it was 10X, but dont see that anywhere. Thanks
Do you need the credit card for the Virgin Voyages deal or can you just be a Bilt Rewards member?
@Jim Baround – you don’t need the card
“A note for members with the Bilt Mastercard®, starting on October 1, 2024, the Double Points on Bilt Mastercard offer maximum will be updated to 1,000 points per Rent Day.”
I’m guessing that wasn’t in the PR sent out.
Ouch. That’s a serious nerf.
