On routes like New York JFK – London – Tel Aviv it’s available for at least two passengers nearly every day through mid-December. But it’s also plentiful out of Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Orlando.

You’ll find additional availability from other cities, especially those where Virgin flies but also cities where Delta offers connections (it’s the Delta domestic flight that can be hardest to get).

Get 24 Months Of Star Alliance Gold Status By Transferring Bank Points

Through February 2022 there’s a promotion where transferring points into 250,000 Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles will earn Star Alliance Gold status for a year.

Singapore Airlines is extending all status that expires by March 2023 by a year. So gaining Star Alliance Gold through this promotion actually nets you 24 months of status. And Singapore is a transfer partner of Chase, American Express, Citibank, Capital One and Brex.

How American Airlines Is Cracking Down On Flight Attendants Who Sell Their Job Duties

American Airlines flight attendants have been selling their seniority to more junior crewmembers for cash. They book trips that they do not intend to take – more desirable trips than what the junior cabin crew could secure on their own – and then they ‘trip trade’.

Flight attendants who do this at American Airlines – mostly legacy US Airways crew – are known informally as “The Cartel.” I shared the note that the flight attendants union sent out, highlighting the practice. American Airlines sent out a warning as well.

American Airlines Flight Attendants Are Selling Their Job Duties To Other Employees

The American Airlines flight attendants union reported to members in an update to crew that the practice of “cartels” among their members continues. Flight attendants are selling their seniority, brokering trips to more junior crew. And they’re applauding those who rat out colleagues to management, even though it may get union members fired.
