A Florida-based attorney flying American Airlines says her two year old was watching Bubble Guppies quietly, but without headphones. The aircraft was taxiing out, turned around and her family was kicked off the aircraft. She says she was told several times she ‘was in first class’ and felt, as a black woman, that she was being told she didn’t belong.
Southwest Airlines gate agents put up a sign that read “If you ask a question, you have to sing a song.” So this passenger departing New Orleans did exactly that, roping in employees and drawing in the whole crowd.
A man survived the journey as a stowaway in the landing gear of American Airlines flight AA1182 from Guatemala City to Miami on Saturday and was discovered on arrival at the gate in video shared by the Only In Dade social media account. He was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

A man was denied boarding by KLM when he tried to bring his rabbit on board a flight from São Paulo to Amsterdam on Thursday. He’d obtained a court order instructing KLM to allow him to travel, but airport staff disregarded the court ruling and the situation descended into chaos.
Tuesday night’s American Airlines flight AA322 was delayed 48 minutes after the aircraft returned to the gate to offload “two drunk unruly passengers” who cursed at cabin crew over mask requirements.
One of the men reportedly threatened a flight attendant, “Stop telling me to wear mask or I’ll slap the s[—] out of you!”
Ultimately the passenger’s only defense to the airline’s banning decision was his recording – a recording which would have violated the airline’s rules, taking place in terminal areas that they control. Maybe he sassed a flight attendant, or maybe he even had a mask beneath his nose, but being followed through the terminal by a pilot is… bizarre.
A passenger hanging their hair over their seat back, in front of the passenger behind them, frequently creates a social media stir. And it immediately prompts fiendish dreams of cutting off the passenger’s hair with a pair of scissors. Fortunately the person trying to work on their laptop on a Southwest Airlines flight on Tuesday had no such impulse – or scissors.
Southwest is in the news after a flight attendant reported a white mother traveling with her 10 year old biracial daughter as “suspicious.” The mother was investigated as a sex trafficker.
