Lufthansa Flyer offers a retrospective on Lufthansa’s first class rubber duckies. I admit, I’ve never taken a bath at the First Class Terminal in Frankfurt (I much prefer a shower) but on more than one occasion I’ve asked the shower attendant for a rubber ducky. She opens the closet, full of plastic ducks, and hands me one. And I let her know I’d appreciate one for my wife as well, and she obliges.. I had no idea there were so many variations on the classic rubber duck, so check out the whole post. Last year I wrote about my very mundane travel routine. It was really about sharing what most of my travel is like, as well as providing a window into the minutiae of how I think about my travel day. Trying Out the OTHER Andaz in New York, Wall Street
My regular hotel in New York has become the Andaz 5th Avenue but this past weekend I stayed at the Andaz Wall Street for the first time, in part because I’ve really wanted to try it out to experience the difference since so many Diamond members rave about it, and in part because the 5th Avenue property was pricing quite high and I didn’t want to burn the requisite points for that room. The Wall Street Andaz is frequently favored because they treat Hyatt Gold Passport Diamond members well with room upgrades.
