News and notes from around the interweb:
- What British Airways employees think of their airline
- Aimia – which sold Aeroplan back to Air Canada and still owns 49% of Aeromexico Club Premier – is laying off 25% of its work force.

Deconstructed Chicken Pot Pie, Austin – London Heathrow January 2019 - Qatar Airways will allow its Privilege Club members to perform transactions by phone again their website was never good enough to require everything be online only.
- Royal Jordanian is facing an anti-corruption investigation over its losses. Which seems odd to me, if you want a flag carrier hubbing in Amman, Jordan it’s going to incur losses. That’s sort of a decision they’ve made. But whenever those in power don’t like the decisions others have made they call it corruption.
- American’s suspension of Venezuela service becomes ‘indefinite’

After 20 plus years flying BA as an Emarald or Sapphire in every class of service for the most part I’m done
The business class seats are horrible inter Europe and until they roll out the new cabins for TransAtlantic not a chance in He##
I’ve been flying KLM friendly helpful team members and even without elite status I can get any seats for I want by buying premium cabin or paying for it
BA blocks seats for Gold cardholders and their product even with those caveats truly sucks inner Europe
Sorry to hear that.
Better F food, yeah right if you’re one of the lucky ones – pennypinching mongrels at BA still wont load enough F meals so everyone gets their 1st choice
