Fight Between Maskless Passengers On Spirit Flight Starts With A Finger Gun

Last week there was another fight on board a Spirit Airlines flight, this time from Atlanta to Newark.

A flight attendant announces, “would you please have a seat and allow her to deplane, once again we’re ” as a fight begins with a woman in the aisle making a gun with her fingers pointed at the head of the passenger in her row near the window. Then the passenger closer to the window punches the woman with the finger gun in the face and hijinks ensue. Neither passenger was wearing a mask over their nose and mouth.

This happened on Spirit Airlines, so maybe it’s not even newsworthy. “Passenger fight on Spirit flight” is probably the same as writing “Spirit Airlines operated a flight.” But what’s a standout here is that the flight neither arrived nor departed from South Florida and this still happened.

  1. I’m pretty sure this was a simple misunderstanding. A finger gun is the welcome greeting to Newark when you LAND, not before you take off.

  3. Spirit really should just sanction these fights and then maybe come up with way to wager on them….while wearing your mask of course.

  7. Very funny post Chris! It’s also hilarious to hear the other passengers remarks and responses. It is like they are fans at a boxing match. I think some people book seats on Spirit specifically hoping for such entertainment
