I wrote about the upcoming Frequent Traveler University event in mid-December.
It will be held in Seattle, starting the evening of Friday April 25th and running through the afternoon of Sunday, April 27th.
- Tickets are on sale
- Hotel is available for booking
- Here’s where to discuss the event with fellow attendees
We’re capping the size of the event this time, after having ~ 650 people in Washington DC in April and a much more managable group in Tampa in September. 400 people seems just a better size for having a chance to get to know people, networking and sharing tips with each other, and building community beyond just listening to speakers.
That said, the speakers will be great. I already shared that we would have Lucky from One Mile at a Time, Greg from Frequent Miler, and Summer from Mommy Points. We’ll also have Daraius from Million Mile Secrets and Ed from Pizza in Motion.
Also invited are Seth from Wandering Aramean, Stefan from Rapid Travel Chai, Scott from Hack My Trip, and Matthew from Live and Let’s Fly.
It’s going to be a great event, and I hope to meet many of you there!
- You can join the 30,000+ people who see these deals and analysis every day — sign up to receive posts by email (just one e-mail per day) or subscribe to the RSS feed. It’s free. You can also follow me on Twitter for the latest deals. Don’t miss out!
Gary, what’s the breakdown of basics, intermediate and advance level education here? Thanks
I already have a bachelors and maybe masters. Looking for a doctorate (loopholes, Unpublicized tricks, etc).
Got my FFU ticket and hotel reservation on the first day! Haven’t booked tickets yet… Will have a leave a little early on Sunday to make it back in a reasonable hour in Houston.
Looking forward to meeting you again Gary….can’t wait to hear some more insiders tricks
Looks like the same core group of speakers at every FTU….
@ABC – neither Scott Mackenzie nor Matthew Klint have spoken at FTU before
@Gary. Any comment re the breakdown of basics intermediate and adv level education?
hi, can someone confirm that the group rate at the marriot is cancelable / not charged until i arrive? there is no information on the rate rules regarding this besides saying that the room requires a CC to reserve your room.
i’m not 100% sure if i’m going yet although i’ve bought the event ticket already.
thanks in advance.
@AC it’s not a prepaid rate, however the host hotel is now sold out
