Frontier Kicks Passenger Off Flight Over ‘All Coochies Matter’ Shirt — And His Flight Attendant Confrontation Sealed the Decision

A man was kicked off a Frontier Airlines flight for his shirt that said “All Coochies Matter.” As he explained to officers that removed him, “It’s my clothing brand, and I believe all coochies matter. It’s a women empowerment brand.”

His argument is that people might get offended by a MAGA hat, but people wear those. So just because someone was offended by his shirt doesn’t justify kicking him off the flight.

Some people could get offended by people wearing hijabs on their head. Did that mean somebody got to get off the [F-] plane for wearing a hijab?

Disney was the rejoinder to him: “if you go inside of Disneyland, if you have a shirt, look at some shirts, they won’t let you in” – but Frontier Airlines isn’t Disneyland!

He had already been taken off the aircraft by the time this video starts. Frontier’s contract of carriage says they can refuse to transport a passenger who isn’t “fully clothed in clothing that is not lewd or obscene, threatening, intimidating, or would be objectionable to reasonable persons.”

It turns out there’s also video from onboard the aircraft as well. Apparently what happened was a passenger was offended by the shirt. They flagged it for a flight attendant who agreed and the captain made the decision. But he wouldn’t leave. He responded to the flight attendant “with an F- bomb” and he insisted in a second video to ground staff that everyone was going to have to be deplaned in order to get him off.

The flight attendant objected to his filming. He insists he needs the video for his lawsuit. I do not think the video makes him look like the innocent party, or presents the crewmember acting unreasonably.

Here’s the clothing brand. “Fat coochies, little coochies, all coochies matter” is a line from NLE Choppa’s song “Slut Me Out” – it is explicit sexual rap, not a feminist manifesto.

I don’t think the shirt is especially funny. I wouldn’t recommend wearing it, but most of you won’t look to me for style tips. I wouldn’t kick him off for wearing it, though. Frontier’s judgment was different. They wanted him to wear a different shirt. But it’s his refusal coupled with foul language dealing with crew over the issue that did him in.

Airlines tend to censor about sexual content from passengers, even though it’s politics that’s more prone to disrupt flights. And those same airlines either run seatback movies, or stream continent, that’s more explicit than what can get a passenger kicked off. Dress codes are selectively enforced and usually focused on women’s bodies and F-bombs.

Ultimately the lawsuit isn’t what’s going to generate a return for the passenger here. That’s expensive and he’ll lose. But I bet he sells some shirts.

  1. So a pathetic Karen passenger that had to get involved whined to a FA. So sad. Why can’t people just worry about their own lives. Agree his response to the FA is likely what got him kicked off. BTW, I don’t consider the shirt offensive or obscene. On the other hand I have seen people on a plane wearing a shirt with the “F word” on it who weren’t kicked off. I wouldn’t wear it but also not about to go cry to a FA that my feeling are hurt. God I hate snowflakes.

  2. Many people know EXACTLY what “coochie” means. The First Amendment doesn’t apply as Frontier is a private company. The First Amendment says that, “Congress from establishing a religion or prohibiting its free exercise, and from abridging freedom of speech.” This includes any state or local government. Take off the shirt jerk!
