Hilton Brings Back Double Points Starting May 1

Hilton’s current promotion runs through April 30 and they’re not missing a beat with their new one.

Hilton will offer double points on every stay (not of this ‘starting with your second or third stay’ stuff) between May 1 and August 31. Registration required.

  • Double base points means 10 points per dollar plus an additional 10 bonus points (half of both at Home2 Suites and Tru properties). Elite bonuses aren’t doubled.

  • Offer available “at over 5,000 hotels worldwide”

This compensates for reduced earning that went into effect April 1 for base members and silvers and is a boon for Golds and Diamonds. And this is definitely better than Marriott’s and Starwood’s new promotion.

Hilton tells me that the registration page will not be available until next week.
