HURRY: Hyatt Regency Paris Ambassador Suite From Just $142 August through End of Year

Extreme Hotel Deals reports that the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile has their Ambassadors Suites for sale at just $142 a night plus tax.

The second largest suites in the hotel, measuring 70-sq-metres, feature king bedroom and marble bathroom, plus living room area.

Enjoy breathtaking views of the city and the Eiffel Tower, in a contemporary decor and modern amenities that include lounge access and wireless Internet.

Ambassador suites have been individually designed to the highest specification creating truly unique apartments with attention to detail in every room. Suites have exclusive access to a private lounge that features complimentary continental breakfast, and evening cocktails as well as all day tea, coffee, light snacks and desserts.

Availability is reportedly August 2 through December 30.

Book on Hyatt’s website and select this rate:

All room types appear to be coming up at the same rate. The first night I checked was ~ US$174++.

Note that in addition to lounge access, the rate itself while prepaid and non-refundable also includes breakfast.

Two important caveats:

  • Only book what you’re certain you will use. While hotels are often happy to cancel reservations that are priced so low if you wish, the rules say it’s non-refundable and they could certainly hold you to that.

  • Don’t make other non-refundable or non-changeable plans around the reservation yet. There’s certainly a chance that the hotel will decide not to honor such a great deal.

  1. Excellent! Booked. This is why I love following this site. Already had a trip to Paris planned for the end of the year with my wife. Now we have a hotel to go with it at a great rate.

  2. Can you clarify what’s meant by breakfast? Does this mean we get a choice of having breakfast either at the hotel restaurant or the regency club lounge?

  3. Al- either book, or don’t book. By the time someone clarifies whether the hotel restaurant is included (my guess would be yes, given its a rate with breakfast) the deal will be gone. Surely having breakfast in the lounge isn’t the deal breaker on this offer?

  4. This same thing happened at a Florida Hyatt resort property and I was able to get a huge suite for the same price as a regular room. In this case it stayed that way for months, as long as you booked way ahead. As the dates got closer, it went up to $900.

  5. No Ambassador Suite available for the nights we will be there in early September. (1-4)… the Regency Suite King is available for 140 euro per night. However, it does offer Club Access for those who may not have Diamond Status. This would still be a good deal for someone. The very next week, everything changes… rates are up to 455 euro. (I think they have caught the glitch)
Thanks for the heads up though.

  6. Just completed two nights in an Ambassador Suite last week. While the staff is accommodating, the hotel and suites are in a horrid state – definitely not to Regency standards. Renovations have begun and can be heard from 10am – 6pm every day.

  7. Seems dead. Checked many nights in September, November and December and suites are not showing up at all. Maybe they got wise to the pricing and removed them until they can get the issue fixed?

  8. All the Ambassadors Suites dried up while I was booking. I was able to snag the King Suite for a weekend in Oct for $200 a night. Not sure if this is even that great of a deal.

  9. Jeremy, believe me: That’s a deal “FORMIDABLE!” Ask any travel agent, if there are any left in your hometown 😉 !
Also, for those who aren’t sure of their dates, the Standard Rate is only 25% more, offers free cancellation till 4PM la veille (one day prior,) but no free breakfast in the restaurant. Or spend 17 euros/ $19 above that per night for the Explore Package, which includes “1 ticket to Louvre Museum per person per stay: Louvre Museum brochure – Breakfast each morning is valid at hotel restaurant or in room dining.”

  10. BTW, a basic room here costs only 15K GP per night! Vs. 20K at Du Louvre, 25K at Madeleine, or 30K at Vendome.

  11. Couldn’t find anymore ambassador suites but the regency ones adv Bf (advanced pay breakfast) were still around between Aug and October if you search day by day sometimes

  12. Thanks for this Gary! Love your column (and this deal is a great example of why I do).

  13. I saw this on EHD and booked three nights in August. My email confirmation and the Hyatt App reservation details page show a rate of 196EUR/night with city tax of 2.48EUR. However, on the Hyatt App when I click on “Rate Rules” it shows 596EUR PER NIGHT! The city tax there shows as 22.32EUR. Nothing has been charged to my credit card yet. I will bring a printout and screen capture of the confirmed total and hopefully things will be fine. Anybody have experience with Hyatt price mistakes? It would not be pleasant to get a bill for an additional 1200EUR upon arrival.
