While there are certainly challenges with overcrowding at some lounges thanks to how many of us now have Priority Pass cards from premium credit cards, you have to hand it to the Collinson Group’s team for getting creative adding lounges like Turkish Airlines at Washington Dulles, the Sofitel Heathrow terminal 5’s club lounge, and a restaurant at London Gatwick.
And now the Minute Suites in Philadelphia is now a Priority Pass lounge.
I’ve always wanted to try one of these, I pass by at Dallas Fort-Worth all the time, and there’s one in Atlanta as well.
Minutes Suites is located in the connector between the A terminal (terminal A East) and B terminal. This is most convenient for American Airlines passengers.
Each suite is equipped with a daybed sofa that features two sleeping surfaces with fresh pillows and blankets. A sound-masking system in each suite neutralizes noise, and the unique NAP26Tm audio program helps deliver the equivalent of three hours of sleep in only 26 minutes! Each room has a high-definition television with access to DIRECTV, the Internet, and flight-tracking information.
It’s open 24 hours a day, and Priority Pass gets you 1 hour access to a suite per visit. You can pay for additional time at $28 per hour.
Philadelphia is also getting the next American Express Centurion lounge so it’s a great time to be an American Airlines passenger at their Philadelphia hub, no longer having to put up with lines like this one at the bar of an Admirals Club there.

That bar looks the the Amex lounge in MIA . Not sure how anyone can like that lounge. Overcrowded and average food choices .
Can you exit after the hour is up and then go back for another “visit” ?
I”m not sure I get this blog post. How do American Airlines customers benefit from this other than Priority Pass users “maybe” going to other facilities?

How can an AA ExecPlat have a shower while transiting PHL on a Business Class itinerary? Not a member of Priority Pass
Anecdotally, I’ve been at that bar when there were very few customers.
The Amex centurion lounge will be in A West though, which is a solid 15 minute walk from this one. Still ok for some AA customers but hardly usable for anyone flying out of D or further.
I wish PP would do something about the overcrowding and waitlisting in DFW. Why can’t they make arrangements with just one of the other 5 or so contract lounges on that hallway to take PP, at least when they are full? The other lounges have plenty of space…
