U.S. Airlines Unite Against China, Seek To Block New Flights Between The Two Countries

There’s nothing unique about Chinese airlines using Russian airspace while U.S. airlines cannot. Moreover, it’s a complete non-sequitur because newly-approved flights can be conditioned on avoiding Russian airspace as has been done in the past.

The truth is that U.S. airlines do not want more flights approved between the U.S. and China because it’s bad for their business.

Alaska Airlines Passenger’s AirTag Traveled To 37 Cities While Its Owner Watched, No Miles Earned!

An Alaska Airlines passenger put an AirTag on their luggage last summer before checking it in San Francisco. The bag was delivered to San Diego just fine. It was at baggage claim shortly after landing – without the AirTag on it. The tag had fallen off.

The plane was an Embraer E-175 regional jet operated for Alaska Airlines by SkyWest. And that SkyWest plane has been “bopping around the western US and Canada ever since” with the passenger’s AirTag in the cargo hold.

Alaska Airlines Elites To No Longer Get American Airlines Confirmed Upgrades, As American’s Seattle Plans Fade

Alaska Airlines MVP Gold 75K and 100K elite members have had the opportunity to confirm upgrades at time of booking on American Airlines long haul international flights, just like American Airlines Platinum Pro and Executive Platinum members can select systemwide upgrades as a choice benefit.

These confirmed upgrades on American for Alaska Airlines elites go away next year.
