New Orleans Grandfather Had Life Savings Stolen At The Columbus Airport

A New Orleans grandfather and head deacon in his church had his life savings confiscated from him at the Columbus, Ohio airport.

Kermit Warren was laid off from his full time job as a longshoreman during the pandemic, and he decided to turn his scrap metal side business into a full-time business. He needed a bigger truck, and thought he found the one he needed in Ohio. He agreed to an all-cash offer, and brought the $30,000 for the sale. But when he got there he found the truck was too big. So instead of driving home, he bought a one way ticket on American Airlines from Columbus, Ohio to Dallas – Fort Worth to New Orleans.

Airline Mask Mandate Will Be Extended Through January 18, 2022

President Biden is set to extend the federal transportation mask mandate out to January 18, 2022.

Even when the CDC lifted its guidance that vaccinated Americans wear masks indoors, the mask mandate for air travel which is generally considered safer than most other indoor congregant settings remained. When the CDC again recommended indoor masking, it seemed clear that the requirement for air travel would remain in place.

Southwest Tells Mother To “Glue” Mask Onto Her Two Year Old’s Face

On August 12 a mother was traveling with her husband, four year old, and two year old from Orlando To Norfolk, Virginia. While they traveled well to Florida, they were having difficulty with the younger child on the way home. The two year old wouldn’t keep her mask on, because she sucks her thumb and the mask gets in the way.

Two flight attendants, the woman said, stood over them watching as she struggled with the child. And one suggested she “glue it to her face.” And, “[t]he flight attendant, Cleek said, indicated she had glue available.”

Americans Support Vaccine Passports For Air Travel By A Wide Margin

According to recent polling a vaccination requirement to fly on a plane enjoys broad support from Americans. This is true regardless of political party, age, or income. It’s also true of all races and regions of the country.

Overall support is 2-1, with 64% of respondents approving of vaccine passports for air travel, which is greater than the support for such a requirement to attend concerns or sporting events.
