Plaza Premium Lounges Return To Priority Pass

Priority Pass is huge, with over 1,300 participating lounges. Their parent company has their own lounges (The Club) and they’ve signed up independent lounges all over the world. People buy membership directly, or get a membership with their premium travel credit card.

Plaza Premium is the largest independent airline operator. There are Plaza Premium lounges, and Plaza Premium runs lounges for others. For instance, they used to run the U.S. Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, they run the Capital One lounge at Dallas – Fort Worth, and they have an outstanding lounge at the Orlando airport.

You used to be able to access Plaza Premium’s own lounges via Priority Pass, but that partnership ended two years ago. But now it’s back.

  • This adds 63 Plaza Premium lounges to Priority Pass’s network.

  • 39 lounges are live in the partnership today (though they may not show in the Priority Pass app until tomorrow), with the balance joining June 20.

  • 15 of these, already live, are in North America

That’s great news for anyone with a Priority Pass card – especially purchased directly or coming from card other an American Express Platinum or Capital One Venture X which separately have deals with Plaza Premium.

  1. Thanks man this was so informative and I always check for update here because this blog site never Cheat me thanks for that buddy Love from Alan.

  2. “That’s great news for anyone with a Priority Pass card – whether purchased directly or coming from an American Express Platinum or premium hotel card, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Capital One Venture X and more.”

Amex Platinum and Capital One Venture X have access to Plaza Premium lounges anyway, right? So what’s the value add for them?

  3. Are the terms any different than say Amex Platinum? I can get 2 guests (I believe) in at DFW with Platinum for free – Is that now the same with Priority Pass?

  4. Excellent news. I rarely use lounges, but it annoyed me that PP was a perk with Chase Reserve and suddenly it was worthless. Thanks.

  5. Hypothetical scenario: say Plaza Premium restricts priority pass due to crowding… I wonder if I could use Venture X or Amex Plat to enter?

  6. Ritz Carlton card holder here, and thrilled that Plaza Premium is back, especially for YYZ and DFW.
