Registration Live for Hilton’s New Bonus, Do It Now

Last week Hilton shared the details of their second quarter promotion, however it wasn’t yet available for registration. Now it is, and you should register, even if you don’t expect to stay at Hiltons in the coming months — because if your plans change (even with a last minute stay because of a forced overnight when your flight cancels) you’ll never remember to register on the spot. It takes seconds now then it’s now.

Hilton’s current promotion runs through April 30. Then between May 1 and August 31 they’ll offer double points on every stay. Registration required.

  • Double base points means 10 points per dollar plus an additional 10 bonus points (half of both at Home2 Suites and Tru properties). Elite bonuses aren’t doubled.

  • Offer available “at over 5,000 hotels worldwide”

This compensates for reduced earning that went into effect April 1 for base members and silvers and is a boon for Golds and Diamonds. And this is definitely better than Marriott’s and Starwood’s new promotion.

  1. Good post.

As a side rant…I know why they do it but it makes me avoid properties that award less points per night in programs. Like the Home2suites, candlewoods, etc. Seems that they could do it diffferently. I know they want to avoid giving a “normal” amount of loyalty points to someone living there long term but they could adjust that and award regular earnings for say stays of less than a few days or something. The way it is I just avoid them when possible so they lose and I do as well sometimes.
