  1. Years ago if you boarded an Illyushin 86 without a jetway, you walked up stairs into the cargo hold then internal stairs into the cabin. I always thought it would be so much faster if all airplanes were like this and you stowed and recovered your ‘checked’ bags on the way. I’d pay extra to not have someone handle my bags.
