- In November American Airlines announced they were adding high speed internet to their large regional jets. The first install is now complete.
- Helicopter crashed into Cairns DoubleTree stands out to me because I’ve taken a helicopter up there, landing by a waterfall in the Daintree.

- Alaska Airlines doesn’t fly long haul, so racking up flown miles is more challenging with them than – say – United. Here’s a claim that there’s only one person to become a three million miler with the airline:
First 3-million-mile passenger in Alaska Airlines’ history (repost from fb)
byu/volunteerist inAlaskaAirlines - For readers who claim that only real service animals are allowed to fly now, and that the emotional support animal scam is over, I present:
- New York paid for 10,000 hotel room nights that were never used “That included nearly $570,000 for 3,500 vacant rooms at the Crowne Plaza JFK Hotel for ten nights in June 2023, and more than $833,000 for 4,902 vacant rooms at the Armoni Inn in Upstate Orangeburg for 61 nights in May and June 2023.”
- Saks Fifth Avenue owner developing luxury hotel, apartments in former department stores unfortunately Amex Plat credits won’t be valid at the hotels!
Will Steph Curry collect royalties on that ridiculously invasive aircraft photo?
Paid professionals in the Olympics….yawn.
I’m sure he could afford the upgrade.
That’s a cute dog enjoying a premium travel experience in Delta One!
Haters gonna hate .. Good for him ..
Re: Helicopter crash: Condolences to victim(s).
This incident raises the obvious questions
1. Was he a diamond guest?
2. Did he request a helipad?
3 Are there Walgreens in Australia?
Beyond tacky to wear that medal on the plane.
Who is Steph Curry and why should I care?
Steph wearing a gold Rolex President with his gold medal. Curios why his personal assistant didnt book him in La Premiere.
If this athelete thought that they were gonna get special treatment just because they had won some type of metal, then I’m sorry to say that, that ain’t gonna happen
What a tight-wad! Flying commercial???
Well, at first I believed it to be a little over the top.
Upon further review, he certainly earned his right to wear the medal anywhere he chooses as in reality it’s really no one else’s business d_ _ _ n business.
I also suggest his choice and or possible circumstances of flights & accommodations is also HIS choice & privilege.
Excuse my naivete, but how do you guys know his flight had La Premiere. If it did, the bigger question is who are the four to beat him to the reservations for those seats?
That appears to be the newer biz class suites on AF. If that’s the case then no, there’s no 1st class on those planes.
