Stupid Antisemites Are Looking For Jews Hiding In Planes [Roundup]

News and notes from around the interweb:

  • Antisemites aren’t very smart. Fire it up, captain!

  • Expedited airport security at New York JFK terminal 1 using Priority Pass

  • Southwest Airlines highlights co-brand card spend in its 3rd quarter SEC 10-Q but like all airlines and payments companies curiously fails to adjust for inflation. Or not so curiously.

The Company’s Rapid Rewards® loyalty program continues to be a point of strength, with record third quarter new Member additions, a third quarter record level of Member engagement, and record third quarter spend on the Company’s co-branded Chase® Visa credit card.

  • He’s flying on a fossil fuel-burning aircraft, and shaming the airline over plastic cups.

  • Again, for those readers who keep telling me I’m wrong and that only ‘service animals’ are allowed on flights now. A passenger just needs to complete the advance paperwork which says whatever it is is a service animal.

  • Qantas claims it doesn’t sell tickets to flights but ‘bundle of rights’ in defence against ACCC case after continuing to sell tickets for flights they’d already cancelled internally.

Qantas also claimed that informing customers that it had already cancelled flights they were booked on would have created “uncertainty and frustration” and overwhelmed its phone lines, as the airline accuses the competition watchdog of ignoring the realities of the aviation industry.

  • The solution to Frontier’s revenue problems: merchandising. Sadly, Diamond elite benefits do not include free inflight Eggo waffles.

did you expect anything else from some sheep molesting primitive muslims in the middle of the russian tundra?

  2. I do not see a difference between you and the ignorant souls you’re disparaging. Given same environment, you would behave exactly alike.

  3. Doug,

Dagestan is not Russian tundra, but I understand that the relationship between being a bigot and being well-informed and intelligent is typically best described as inverse to one another. Doug, hate much? Seems so, too much. Islamophobes and anti-semites are birds of the same feather, so maybe you should consider nesting with that flash mob flock in Dagestan to feel right at home.

I knew it will take you no more than an hour to surface from the depths of your nazi basement….
good that you surfaced, we can now as predicted mark the 10000…..
As I told you before, 1=10
    as always, GFY

  5. Doug sounds like Putin with the pretend anti-Nazi performance speech about attacking a target to oppose Nazis.

No Nazis to be found in any of my basements, but I do have a lot of material about the horrors of the Holocaust, other genocides and ethnic cleansing perpetrated by right wing extremists (and also some perpetrated by Communists).

  6. I love seeing good ‘ole American technology (iphones, social media, etc) in the hands of terrorists and countries that hold us hostage to high oil prices. If I was King, all American invented exports would be subject to a huge tariff pegged to the price of oil. When they finally drop the big one on us, you’ll know it will be guided in using the GPS system we invented and gave away for the world to use…

  7. I have long expected Netanyahu to turn out to be a perpetrator of war crimes and other crimes against humanity, and so the Netanyahu regime taking inspiration from his buddy Putin is anything but a surprise to me. Keep in mind that Netanyahu was providing cover and assistance to Putin for most of 2022 and 2023 in the course of Putin’s expanded aggressions against Ukraine. Only this month, did Netanyahu decide to change course.

It’s also not surprising to me that the Netanyahu regime has killed more children, women and the elderly in Gaza in one month than Putin did in Ukraine or even Chechnya during the worst month of the assaults there.

Your pride in the scale of mass atrocities committed against people in Gaza speaks volumes about the worth of your character. I hope your heart grows faster than your anger and hatred, but it seems you are beyond hope unless you change and decide you want to save what humanity remains in you.

I am Israeli, and not a fan of netanyahu
that said, ALL my sympathy was lost on oct 7
we had an holocaust, we will not have another one, even if it menas they suffer,
its the price of our survival and if you celebrate with candy october 7 then you can eat that candy when we come for you

  9. A lack of sympathy and empathy for the “they” are a sign of the monster inside. The very kind of monster mentality that would not have been able to manifest itself with the holocaust, a genocide like no other and only made possible because so many people turned out to be like you with reduced sympathy and empathy for even “the other” unarmed civilians.

  10. It is depressing. So many on opposing sides of any conflict you can think of are just two sides of the exact same coin. In essence, intolerance vs intolerance, ignorance vs ignorance, idiocy vs idiocy.

  11. @GUWonder – agreed on all counts

@Gary – it’s costly to repair a jet engine after it has ingested a whole-ass human but in this case the comedic value would make it worthwhile

  12. A shame the pilots didn’t turn on the engine since the searchers needed a major dose of Darwinism.

  13. @Gene – Speaking for myself, I’m pretty fervently against @$$holes of any stripe wandering around looking for innocents to slaughter. Peaceful protest, voting for what you believe in, boycotting products that are strongly against your values – sure. Not always productive or smart but sure. That’s not what this lynch mob represented.

  14. It is highly doubtful anyone is looking for people inside an airline engine. They are probably trying to look and see what the inside of the engine looks like, not for people per se.
