He unleashed a barrage of verbal abuse directed at both airline staff and fellow travelers, screaming and then also kicking employees in a drunken frenzy.

Other passengers stepped in to restrain the man using seatbelts but he broke free, tearing apart flexcuffs that had been applied by crew. He then went to smash the window with his fist. That’s when they diverted.

Passenger Strips Topless, Bites Flight Attendant Who Scolded Her For Smoking

A passenger on board one of Aeroflot’s two daily Stavropol – Moscow Airbus A320 flights felt the need to smoke in the lavatory. When she was admonished for it – and getting up while the seat belt sign was on during turbulence – her first reaction was to appeal the decision to the pilots – by trying to break into the cockpit.

When that didn’t work she stripped off her top and bit a flight attendant.

Aeroflot Forced To Forfeit London Heathrow Slots Permanently

One week ago the British government announced sanctions against three Russian airlines: Aeroflot, Ural Airlines and Rossiya Airlines. This kept them from selling or leasing takeoff and landing slots at U.K. airports. Russian airlines already couldn’t enter U.K. airspace.

We now know what this means in practice for their London Heathrow slots: Russian airlines don’t just lose the ability to profit from their slots, they actually lose the slots.

Brave Russian Pilot Goes Viral Announcing Ukraine Invasion Is A Crime And Must Be Stopped

A Captain for Russian government-owned low cost carrier Pobeda, a subsidiary of Aeroflot, demonstrated real bravery by announcing to his flight that his government’s invasion of Ukraine is a crime and must be stopped. Caveating that he was speaking for himself and not the airline that had brought passengers to Antalya, Turkey, he asked passengers to do everything they could to bring the war to an end. Passengers cheered.

Russian Airlines Face Repossession Of Half Their Planes, As Aeroflot Flight Ignores Airspace Ban

Sunday night’s Aeroflot 124 Moscow – New York flight turned around midflight. The U.S. hasn’t banned Russian aircraft from its airspace, but it’s tough for them to get here without overflying EU and Canadian airspace. They flew 8 hours and wound up where they started.

At the same time Aeroflot 111 from Miami to Moscow made it to its destination, violating airspace restrictions. They’re accused of lying claiming that this was a humanitarian flight, rather than a standard commercial flight.
