Wyndham can be useful for home rental stays (generally 15,000 points per bedroom per night). Aeromexico is limited use, but there are some use cases. The most useful promotion here is with LifeMiles – reasonable award chart, no fuel surcharges, and awards across Star Alliance.

Delta Spends $1.2 Billion To Lock In Influence At 3 Airlines
After receiving around $10 billion in direct payments from taxpayers, the airline is spreading its cash around the world. Delta is investing $1.2 billion in three airlines where it’s held an equity stake:
Before the pandemic Delta saw the U.S. market as mature and limited, but it had opportunities for growth around the world. Instead of focusing on alliances, it took stakes in foreign carriers to give them tighter control and greater participation in upside.
Capital One Announces Third Airport Lounge And Two Mileage Transfer Bonuses

Citi’s Newest Transfer Partner – Aeromexico – Is Absolutely Useless
Club Premier is 49% owned by Aimia, the company that spun off Air Canada’s Aeroplan, lost 80% of its market value when Air Canada announced its intention to start a competing program, and then sold the program back to the airline. Aimia has the demonstrated capability to run a good operation. In this case however they are part of one of the worst frequent flyer programs.

Aeromexico which is in some sense a vassal of Delta these days doesn’t own their own frequent flyer program in its entirety. Aimia owns nearly 49%.
And following on Air Canada’s public offer to buy Aeroplan, Aeromexico came in with a lowball offer to buy back their stake in the Club Premier program. It was an offer that was already rejected, but included a kicker straight from the Air Canada playbook.
Delta Backs Off a Change Without Notice — But Only For Customers Paying Attention
Delta made some changes to the elite qualifying miles you earn flying Aeromexico effective for travel April 1 onward. And they made the change retroactive for customers who had already purchased tickets for future travel.
However if you know the secret handshake you can get them to honor the miles that were promised at the time of purchase.
