Poor quality wifi is something that I avoid when choosing an airline. It costs airlines ticket revenue. While the cost of wifi is part of the cost of travel – airlines that bundle it in with ticket price become more competitive, while charging separately makes little sense when it’s possible to offer it at near-zero marginal cost once installed on the aircraft.

Air Canada Flight Attendant Melts Down At Passenger Who Asked for Blanket, Flight Gets Cancelled

An Air Canada flight from Casablanca to Montreal was cancelled on Friday after a flight attendant went berserk on a passenger who asked for a blanket. The cabin for flight 73 was cold, and video shows the purser responding aggressively.

The crewmember yells in French and in English, “You will behave or we will get off!” and “I don’t want no bullying against my crew.” She also yells at passengers who were recording her rant. The blanket offender asks for the captain, and the flight attendant refuses.

Passengers On An Air Canada Flight Were Stranded For 24 Hours, Now The Airline Is Suing Them

Air Canada delayed a flight from Vancouver to Costa Rica for 24 hours in 2020. It took three years, but the Canadian Transportation Agency – which generally didn’t require the airline to offer refunds to customers even when an airline cancelled their flight during Covid – awarded two passengers who complained $1,000 each.

Six months later, Air Canada still hasn’t paid. Instead, they’re suing the passengers.
