American Airlines CEO knows that the federal mask mandate – which he lobbied for – is causing most of the problems on airplanes today. American won’t service alcohol in coach until September 13th when the mask mandate expires. But he’s frustrated. He doesn’t know what else to know. So the airline is trying to stop ‘to go’ sales of alcohol in airports and trying to get more abusive customers prosecuted.

Doug Parker, Chairman and CEO of American Airlines, told employees on Thursday at a town hall question and answer session, that they’ll be watching what United’s new plan for seat back video screens – along with Delta’s current screens – means for competition. This could force the airline, he says, to install seat back screens again as well.

However American defended this saying that he may have went along with stopping the democratic process and calling into question the election – but he supports government subsidies for airlines.

Crewmember Drags Homophobic Disney Rant Woman Off American Airlines Flight

A passenger on board an American Airlines flight from Dallas – Fort Worth to Orlando went on a homophobic rant in which she accused Disney of having been “corrupted” by advocates of same sex marriage.. or something to that effect.

The disruptive passenger, who was unwilling to wear her face mask over her nose and mouth, was pulled off the aircraft by the arm by a flight attendant, after the aircraft returned to the gate.

American Airlines Says Their Boxed Lunches Represent The “Return To Pre-Covid Meal Service”

American Airlines has introduced boxed (cold) meals to flights over 900 miles. In an employee meeting last week, Jodi Spicer (Managing Director of Onboard Dining), argued that this is a return to pre-Covid meal service.

A year ago American planned for cheaper catering when service returned. Lets hope these boxed meals are just the bridge to something better and not the destination themselves.

American Airlines Miami Passenger Walks The Aisles As Plane Tries To Depart

On Saturday night’s American Airlines flight 1630 from Miami to Austin, the Boeing 737 MAX delivered new to the airline in January took a delay over an issue with the aircraft’s tire. While that was addressed, one of the passengers on board the full flight became antsy and decided to “walk around” the cabin. When the plane was close to takeoff the woman reportedly stated that “something would happen.”
