A Boeing 747 cargo jet operated by ACT Airlines on behalf of Emirates SkyCargo veered off the runway at Hong Kong International Airport, smashing through a perimeter fence and plunging partially into the sea. Two airport employees were tragically killed when their patrol vehicle was struck by the aircraft.

Boeing 747 Engine Parts Rain Down On Cars From The Sky

At least two people were injured when a Longtail Aviation Boeing 747-400 freighter rained engine parts down on a village near the end of the Maastricht, Netherlands airport runway.

The plane was headed to New York JFK and had just taken off when the number one engine suffered damage and turbine blades began to fall, damaging cars and hurting people including an elderly woman wo suffered minor injuries.

Six Boeing 747s Flew To The Netherlands For Storage And Weren’t Permitted To Leave.

There’s no ‘security issue’ with a 747 taking off from the airport, which was allowed until Lufthansa brought theirs there to store. In tactics one associates more with New Jersey than The Netherlands, Lufthansa doesn’t want to do dismantling work with the on-site company, so the government wouldn’t let them leave. Now that there’s been public scrutiny however it’s been deemed ‘a mere paperwork issue’ and the supposed safety issues have gone away.

Avatar Airlines Has a New CEO and is Looking to Source 14 Boeing 747s on Social Media

Family Airlines started about 27 years ago. The idea was fly 747s between Las Vegas and Los Angeles as well as Newark, later adding cities like Miami and Honolulu.

The government refused to process an application for service, reportedly insisting that founder Barry Michaels give up control of the project. Nonetheless, he continued raising money and the SEC filed suit over a securities offering.
