Singapore Airlines Will Introduce New Boeing 777 Business Class Seats and First Class Suites in 2022

Singapore Airlines has several different first and business class products in its fleet. Their Airbus A380s are in the process of being transitioned from an old business and first class to a new product. Singapore’s A380 business class is an evolution over the old lie flat seat, in which taller passengers still have to sleep at an angle rather than parallel with the aisle. Meanwhile the first class suite has a separate seat and bed and dividers can be taken down for passengers traveling together so that they have a double bed to share. You May Not Fly the New British Business Class Seat Until It’s Totally Outdated

BA announced the roll out schedule for their new business class seat. They hadn’t previously shared that Airbus A380s would ever get the new seat, though now we know they will. However the timetable to put new seats on their planes also reveals that it’ll be 2025 before the project is completed and that’s just for aircraft based at London Heathrow (and not Gatwick).

Fly American’s New Casablanca Flight in Business From $772 Roundtrip

American Airlines is launching summer seasonal service between Casablanca, Morocco and Philadelphia with a Boeing 757 offering lie flat seats in business class. This leverages their new oneworld partnership with Royal Air Maroc, that will allow for connections around Africa and the Mideast.

American has filed a really cheap fare originating in Casablanca to myriad cities in the U.S. and back.

Are British Airways First Class Passengers About to Start Asking to Downgrade, Because Business is Better?

BA is introducing their first refurbished Boeing 777 with business class suites with doors October 27th flying London Heathrow – New York JFK, The Boeing 777 has first class, and will continue to in the new configuration.

However BA’s current first class seat is wholly uncompetitive. The current first class product has no doors for privacy, while the new business class will offer this.

British Airways Just Introduced New Business Class Award and Upgrade Prices for Better Availability

British Airways has quietly launched new extra business class award availability between North America and the UK for additional miles. US airlines generally offer all or most seats on their flights for additional miles, it used to be roughly double miles but now is often much more especially in premium cabins.

BA, which normally offers double miles awards to ‘Gold Guest List’ elites, is offering this for less than double miles.
