Delta Air Lines today announced that they have suspended codeshares with SkyTeam alliance member Aeroflot, which is 57% owned by the Russian government. I’m surprised it took this long. Lufthansa Setting Up Duty Free Vaccination Center, $1200 For Flights And Shots
Lufthansa will set up a Covid-19 vaccination site inside Moscow Domodedovo airport so that people can fly in, get the Sputnik V vaccine without clearing immigration or customs, and then fly back.
Ultimately we need more jabs in arms, the quicker the better, through whatever means necessary. Many governments have been more focused on who gets shots out of a limited supply than making sure people get shots, and increasing supply. That prolongs the pandemic and costs lives.

Opposition to Vladimir Putin inside of Russia is dangerous, indeed.
Aeroflot Flying Passengers To U.S. And Europe Despite Russia’s COVID Travel Ban
Aeroflot has been circumventing the Russian government’s ban on international passenger flights, according to media reports, by selling tickets to passengers on flights officially labeled as cargo-only.
This has included “flights to New York, Paris, London, Frankfurt, Seoul and Tel Aviv since at least early June” according to airline sources.
Americans Trapped Behind The Iron Curtain Until Further Notice As Repatriation Flight Turns Back
Aeroflot was scheduled to operate a flight from Moscow to New York JFK on Friday, where it would carry home Americans and bring Russians back to their own country. Russia closed its borders as the Aeroflot plane prepared to depart. The Russian government then boarded the plane and confiscated passports.
