TODAY ONLY: United Discounting Hawaii Awards for Program’s 35th Anniversary

United tweeted that they have Hawaii awards on sale to celebrate MileagePlus’ 35th anniversary.

It appears that economy awards are pricing at 17,500 each way instead of 22,500 miles but only when searching for roundtrips. Premium cabin awards aren’t discounting.

Some folks will get real value saving 10,000 miles per ticket roundtrip on Hawaii awards booked today.

  1. So this is weird, it’s working perfectly for me.

@Frank IMHO it is best to search non-stop routes in any case and piece together your own connections

  2. I see them with connections too, if you want coach to Hawaii in run down airplanes this is the trip for you! If only the discount had been around when we did the trip on miles last summer, could have saved 60k miles!
