Woman Sprints Down Aisle, Dumps Coffee on Passengers, and Assaults an Air Marshal

A Delta passenger threw coffee on passengers, overturned a drink cart, ran up and down the aisle and then assaulted an air marshal on a London – Salt Lake City flight.

“At one point she stood up and she was drinking coffee and she literally just threw the whole thing — not the cup, the coffee — and it hit the ceiling, it was going down the walls. It went over probably about six or seven passengers, some, almost, to the other side of the plane,” Nicholls recalled.

According to a passenger she “she literally sprinted down” to one end of the aircraft, turned around and raced back. Multiple times.

Flight attendants asked air marshals onboard to to subdue the woman. She kept insisting she needed to use the lavatory. She went three times, and after she emerged the third time she “jumped on the air marshal’s back and grabbed his head, neck, and jaw.”

And that’s when the hijinks really began on flight DL51 on Thursday, because another air marshal came to the first one’s aid, pulling the woman off of his colleague. She was “then handcuffed for the remainder of the flight.”

The woman reported to a fellow passenger that she had a lot going on in her life. She may have also just been frustrated by how many SkyMiles the flight cost her.

  1. But there is rarely any penalty for this type of behavior except for … in my view…negative publicity.
Although some might argue there is no such thing .
