13 Year Old Boy Duct Taped To Seat On American Airlines Flight
A 13 year old boy tried to kick out the windows of an American Airlines flight from Maui to Los Angeles on Tuesday. The plane was diverted to Honolulu, and the child was taken into custody.
The boy also became “physical” with his mother during the tantrum. Video shows a member of the cabin crew being assisted by passengers in restraining the child.
American Puts Boxed Meals On Trays As It Prepares To Restore First Class Meal Service
Weeks ago I reported that American Airlines was working to bring back hot meals to domestic first class over the coming months, replacing cold meal boxes.
The biggest challenge is supply chain, and that it takes time to ramp up this up after not having offered ‘real’ food on most flights for over a year. However we’re starting to see progress along these lines, and more details on what to expect.
Delta Air Lines Commiserates With Young Girl Who Shares Name Of Infectious Covid Variant
The mom of a 3 year old girl named Delta enlisted the help of Delta Air Lines to petition not to call another Covid-19 variant ‘Delta Plus’ – to please move on from Delta.
Woman Goes Viral For Showing Up To The Airport A Year Early For Her Flight
I’ve made some big mistakes in my travels like booking a hotel for the wrong month and even showing up at the wrong hotel because I know where I stay near the Miami airport every single time. I’ve never booked a ticket to the wrong city, like flying to Rochester, Minnesota instead of Rochester, New York or Sydney in Nova Scotia instead of Sydney, Australia.
One woman, though, showed up at the airport and is going viral on TikTok for booking a ticket for the wrong year. She showed up at the airport intending to leave Zadar, Croatia, only to learn she was a year early for her flight to Milan.
Uber Visa Being Discontinued, Shows How Uber Gave Up On Its Vision Of World Domination
The Uber credit card was supposed to be the centerpiece of Uber’s strategy to build its own currency, Uber credits, which would become ubiquitous as a payment system not just for Uber products but outside of the Uber ecosystem. The primary way these credits would be generated would be through the co-brand credit card, and they’d hopefully become spendable everywhere at retail.
Just as the refresh was reaching the finish line, Uber laid off a large portion of its marketing staff, including people responsible for the card.

New Status Match Concierge Service Gets You Elite Status Approved Quickly
This new site is a status match concierge service for customers. So far it’s just airlines but in the next few weeks they’ll add hotel programs and eventually cruise lines, casinos, and car rentals (the need here is to get agreements into place).
A lot of airlines would do status matches if they had a formal process for it. Instead customers make unprompted asks to programs and get ignored or rejected. And they have contracts or relationships with several airlines.
Southwest “Karen And Karen 2.0” Booted Off Flight For Demanding Aisle Seats On Full Flight
Two women on a delayed July 15 Southwest Airlines flight from Sacramento to San Diego have been dubbed “Karen and Karen 2.0” after boarding late onto the aircraft and screaming at passengers that they should move so that the mother and daughter duo could sit together with an aisle.
The two hour delay turned into a three hour delay, with the rest of the flight’s beleaguered passengers applauding the women being escorted off the aircraft as a consequence of their flight privilege.
